the opening was the best,I could not take much more of that insufferable cocky bastard on the motorbike, when they got sploded I cheered!!and laughed a bit..
Same here...I nearly swallowed my tongue at that part, LOL. I would've
cheered but can barely move my neck. Daryl really kicked butt in this episode. So much happened. The best one in a while. I'm sorry, but Morgan is getting on my nerves. His whole passive, live and let live philosophy is wearing thin.

All i can say this episode was best opener ever. So many emotions.

It's hard to remember all of the episodes but off the top of my head, I would put last night's episode on the short list of best ones. Here are the other ones I remember as being among the best

Season 5 episode 1 - The Terminus episode (I think this is my favorite)

Season 4 mid season final - The Governor attacks again

Season 3 Final - The Governor attacks

Season 2 - Shane vs Rick

Season 1 episode 1 - The beginning

I've been watching old episodes on blu-ray during the off season and thought of something I'm not sure of. Is there something wrong with the fish? I wonder why the survivors never seem to fish. I remember there was one episode where Glenn got a couple of fish and the group made a big deal about it but it's the only time I remember any fish.

I don't remember any mention of anything being wrong with the fish. So did I miss something along the way? Why don't they fish?
Most of the time they're not near a fishing area, but that's a great question. In the comics
, as time goes on not only do they fish, but Michonne is the 'captain' of a boat that does commercial-level fishing, both to feed 'our' people and to trade with other towns :)

At this rate we'll soon be getting 45 minutes of commercials and 15 of TWD per episode.
Not reading spoilers, as I haven't watched it yet, but it only feels like more commercials. Each episode is within a minute of each other--either 44 or 45 minutes long (for the 'hour long' episodes). The '90 minute' shows are 65 minutes on the dot. We have a time stamp on VUDU, so we can tell how long each ep is sans commercials :)

It's definitely good to see Daryl acting like Daryl. In past episodes, they
pretty much had him just sitting around on his hands. He kicked ass last night. That opening ka-BLAM is the best thing EVER. Bye-bye, bikers. And then torching the lake like that, priceless. It's good to see him kicking butt and taking names again.
My only complaint is that
Eugene isn't getting nearly enough credit for finally growing a set. I wish they'd showed more of his bravery, showcasing his first actual walker kill instead of just barely showing him toiling away in the background.
Otherwise, and mostly, it was an AMAZING episode.

I just wish they would make the segments the same length. It seems like there are a couple of segments that are very short before going back to commercial. I think that makes it seem like more commercials.

Did anyone see The Talking Dead last night? I felt bad when the actor that plays Sam was on last night.

After hoping for weeks that he would get eaten, I felt bad when I saw what a cute kid he was when he wasn't in character. ;-D

Hey sir!

I don't have AMC any more so I can't watch TTD. I really like watching it right after TWD episode.

Hi everyone!

Y'all get the tomatoes, rotten vegetables and rocks ready to chuck at me. :0:

Yes. Yes it was a very exciting episode. I understand it's fiction and made up and yadda yadda yadda. I think what's messing me up is the show used to be written in a believable way (as much as a zombie show could be believable). Good or bad it was believable IMO.

Again, it was a Yay! episode but....

Rick would never allow Father Gabrielle to take Judith. Unbelievable. (I know they did that so we would all be anxious about Judith and not see Carl's injury coming up.)

It was a GREAT show for everyone, including Eugene and Fr. Gabe, to get out there chopping down walkers with half-mad Rick. Unbelievable. Michone would have gone out and got stricken horrified Rick back inside. (Yes, I know it brings everyone together and makes them more ready to fight.-Fight Negan. If Daryll hadn't set the lake on fire they would have been, literally up against the wall and walkers would have killed them all. So much for injured Carl and baby Judith.)

Glenn is AGAIN about to die by walkers but since there isn't a dumpster =D Sasha and Abraham come in the nick of time. All head shots without hitting Glenn. Deus ex machina much?

I liked the episode. I did. But if the emperor isn't wearing clothes....

Let the rock throwing commence! xD

Yes, I thought the same about Glen. I rolled my eyes on that one.
