...what's the big deal about Lint?....I give up Lint every time I clean the dryer screen...what???????......

Well..... that is dripping with irony.
I gave up years ago, and I'm not giving up giving up. 
My work has a "40 day challenge" which is similar to Lent. We each have to let go of one thing that's bad OR pick up one thing that's good. I love swearing too much, so I'm giving up junk food. I don't eat the stuff anyway, but it gets people off my %$@#! back. 
Isn't Easter about as early as possible this year?
I used to love the beginning of Lent as we got to help put the little purple coveralls on all the statues in our church and St Aloysius had a lot of statues.
I’m giving up abbreviations for Lent... Laughing Out Loud.

I tried that one year - saying I would give up McDonald's after not even really having any desire to eat there anyway. I think self discipline is a good idea at any time of the year. Lent is as good a time to start as any. It's as good to give up something as it is to take up something. So well done and best wishes to all. I have given up giving up.

Dont know about lent but one thing im ready to give up is rent! Its driving me crazy!!! It would certainly advance me as a person..
