I tried that one year - saying I would give up McDonald's after not even really having any desire to eat there anyway. I suddenly developed a craving for chicken nuggets with hot mustard sauce!
I'm craving KFC right now... and I don't even eat it on a regular basis. KFC is good once a year to clean out the pipes, but it smells just like a little slice of yummy heaven. Kudos to its staff; it must be pure hell to work there and maintain restraint.

Giving up sweets is harder than I thought it would be. Here's a thing, since I have been gradually cutting processed foods out of my diet I have been craving sweets like a maniac. I have always had a bit of a sweet-tooth but it's like I am developing sweet-fangs. It's only Thursday LMAO! I better stock up on fresh fruit.... looks like it's going to be a long 39 more days.

Not giving up anything other than fasting on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays during Lent. Also doing some extra spiritual reading both on line and on my tab.
When expressing how dumb you think practicing a somber, thoughtful religious thing is, please use some consideration. Especially when it's not hurting you. Making fun of someone's religion is not far removed from making fun of their mother. It hurts feelings for no good reason at all. It's a free country, you can ridicule a person's beliefs if you want to, but why would you want to?
Before anyone thinks I'm pointing fingers or playing God's spokesperson, let me tell you I'm not. This post is not directed to anyone in particular but a general statement of concern. So there.

I blew it. I didn't stay away from cheese, my typewriter is having issues, and one of my Facebook friends, director Albert Pyun, could potentially die soon from cerebral atrophy. I feel like an utter waste. Why did I even bother making this thread? How stupid was I?
You tried and so what you fell off the wagon. It's not stupid to fail, it's stupid to not even try. I ate a cookie and a cupcake at work so..... we're human.
BTW It's very cool to even have a typewriter, fritzy or not.
