Nooooo.......not Ginger!
Are y'all OK?

Ginger and I are OK, thanks for asking. Minor damage to her drivers side rear quarter and some ugly scuffs / scratches on her custom rear rim.

It was a kid that hit me. He's not even 18 yet. It was a major struggle not to blow my cool with him. How you don't see a bright orange car that's almost past you when you start changing lanes is beyond me. He was apologetic and all but he hit my baby girl! It helped that he was polite because if he gave me attitude I definitely would have went off on him verbally. I'm not a morning person and hitting my poor defenseless Camaro does not help :mad2:

No one was hurt and that's the most important thing.

Now comes the fun part of fighting with the insurance company to fix the car. I just know it's going to be a hassle over the rims because they are not stock.

Way back when, Ma got in a fender-bender, cop's relative. As time passed, the insurance agent called Dad, said he'd found some good used struts (that held the hatchback up when opened?)...yeah, this hard-working insurance agent was out cruising the junk yards in between writing policy, counting greenback dollars, stacking coin. Dad said he didn't buy used insurance. Things happen.

I wonder though, did cavemen blush after they cut loose? Say like that earlier scenario, Big Sam as the 7-11 with Sam Junior in tow, one of those cavemen papoose carriers...made from yak hide I believe. Little Sam, he can't stop saying hiawatha! ever since he heard the Old Man mouth the word. Funny how kids key in on that one word out of a whole slew of words, hey? You ever notice that? Big Sam is trying to ignore Junior down there in the bassinet, hiawatha! hiawatha! Cashier, a nice girl, daughter of an honest hunter and gatherer from a cave up in the hills, she's smiling politely...did Big Sam blush? Who was the first person to blush when they said a bad word? Was it Sam the caveman at the 7-11, billions and billions of years ago?

...dude, that shouldn't be an issue if they're paying you for the totality of the damage...replacement value is just that-if they hassle you, time to find another insurer...

I'm glad you're both OK.
The kid's insurance should repair Ginger back to the way she was when he hit you. It doesn't matter that her rims aren't stock.....she was wearing them when the accident occurred.

I cussed up a storm last night. My sil got arrested because he rear ended a car at a stop light and fled the scene. He did go back. He chugged a beer, one of those double beers. He told my daughter that he had quit his drinking, and confessed to her that he started again about 2 weeks ago behind her back, and would buy a red bull to cover the smell of the beer. What a moron. I am done with him, and Karen is barely speaking to him right now.
He has done so much to Karen in 11 years, it is unreal.

I cursed today because some little fu**er changed lanes into the drivers side rear quarter of my car this morning. How you cannot see a bright orange car in the lane next to you is beyond me.

Dang! I need a new car and I was seriously thinking about getting a bright orange car so that other drivers would be sure to see me :( I'm sorry about your car... I hope its fixed up soon :)

Okay, I'm likely the worst offender here for bad language. I mean, I'm REALLY bad. I've invented words for already-existing swears I don't find offensive enough. However, time and place. I don't use this language in front of my family or kids in general, and I don't direct it in anger against people. If you swear in anger, you're not doing it right.

I once got a compliment (i think it was a compliment anyway) I once was in learning gruop that consisted of me and 15 females in all ages from 25 to 60. One of them said to me at the end that i coluld swear so it made other people laugh. At least i considered that as a good thing.
