AH! THAT'S the actor who plays Sam! I knew he looked familiar but couldn't think of his name, and it has been bugging me since this morning!

QUOTE="Moderator, post: 165356, member: 6859"]Steve shared with me some of the things that will be happening in future episodes after we'd watched last night's premiere. Definitely not the book but I'm excited to see how it plays out on screen.
Just one little hint, ok? Pleeeeeease I have a bunch of questions but you would make me very happy if you merely answered just one I have about the lady in the lake
Is the lady in the lake an alien in human form?
I think one of the most interesting parts of the episode was
I love mysteries... who woulda thought that after all these years of writing horror, SK turns out to be an adept mystery writer :O SK has created a new genre - horror mysteriesthe appearance of Junior's mom
lol... I said "Huh? No! No! No!" A couple times myself. SK's prerogatives surprised me too lol. I had thought one of them was necessary to the premise but I guess not.My youngest said she wishes she could tell Stephen King to knock it off which her favorite characters. That it’s really starting to make her mad.
I told her it’s his characters - his prerogative.
She said “Huh?” Gotta love public education.

Both had more to do with off-screen reasons than plot development.
Thanks, that's as clear as mud. Both had more to do with off-screen reasons than plot development.
Perhaps their taping schedules didn't conflict. Thanks, that's as clear as mud.
With the news that Dean Morris was going to play Ben Franklin in the mini-series Sons of Liberty, I thought for sure we would have seen a change in the season's opening with the character of Big Jim. Shows how little I know.
Yup, but anticipating and guessing what might happen next, as the series doesn’t follow the book much, is half the fun and a reason why the series is so successful IMO.Perhaps their taping schedules didn't conflict.
Glad to hear you liked it. We get our first new episode next Thursday.First episode of the new season was great. I didn't think Julia Shumway could get any hotter....but I was wrong...so, so wrong. Dean Morris is doing a great job as Big Jim, spot on.
Here's a little interview with one of the stars thatif you're interested!exited the show

That was interesting, thanks
I forgot to mention how much I liked the special effects, especially the ones in the kitchen, Very scary!
He will also be on the production team for the adaptation of Mr. Mercedes. No problem! I agree; the special effects were done very well. Also, agreeing with the actor that the director, Jack Bender, did a great job directing the episode! I remember his name when he directed a couple episodes of Lost. It's cool that he's involved with this show now.
