(Lake George) Mostly for work though - up and down the Northeast Corridor. DC-Philadelphia - New York. Longest (I think) was an overnighter to Chicago from Delaware.

All of your Subway choices are making me hungry. Cold cuts subs are getting a lot of love. I like them, too, occasionally. I enjoy the meatball marinara footlong with Ranch Doritos. I'll alternate to a turkey and bacon on wheat with cucumber slices, honey mustard.

I've only been to New York twice and never made it far enough north to see the Adirondack mountains. I think we were very close. I bet seeing them by train is breathtaking. I always imagine an America pre-automobile, people traveling by train and how different the landscape would've been.

Oh I had a vivid dream recently:
I was getting kiddo ready for school and three school buses arrived. They were full of teachers, aides, friends bearing gifts. Then a police car showed up...when the office got out of the car, he had a stack of pizzas. Apparently it was a morning surprise party.
4. Did you ever have a crush on a teacher?
In high school, there was a young, attractive priest (who taught sex ed, go figure).
I've also had a crush on one of my son's teachers (still have, but he's not my son's teacher now).

Hmmm, I like the unexpectedly uplifting kind, the ones that surprise you into thinking or feeling and in my case, that always means crying.

I have been lucky, I guess. My baby book was lost for years and years but after my grandparents died, while going through things, my dad found it tucked away in a drawer at the house. That is the one item I can think of that was lost that made me heartsick. Was so glad it was found! Had a car stereo stolen once. Was scary to me because the car was in my driveway and it happened overnight. Went without music in the car until I got a different car several years later.

My glasses. I need them and have vision insurance but I need the darkening lenses and opted for the light reflective coating on the lenses as well because my eyes are so very sensitive. I regretted that those extra things that are optional but necessary for me cost us so much and it did put us in a bind for a bit.

10. What was the last purchase you regretted?
My glasses. I need them and have vision insurance but I need the darkening lenses and opted for the light reflective coating on the lenses as well because my eyes are so very sensitive. I regretted that those extra things that are optional but necessary for me cost us so much and it did put us in a bind for a bit.
