Yes. A one man pup tent with my friend. In an RV area about 20 miles south of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. On a cliff with banana trees. Fed the stray dogs. Bad idea. The were trying to get in all nite. Woke up wet from the ocean and pretty miserable. It was an experience, though.

Used to take lessons when I was little. I was in the tadpole class.

Lots of times - it is usually good, but once we got soaking wet due to not putting the groundsheet on correctly.

Yes - I was 12 years old and taught myself using this weird styrofoam thing that you strapped on to your back.

It would be the jam dish my Mom gave me - when she brought it to Canada in 1946 it was already 80 years old at that time.

I think going to basic training for the military in 1980 made me realize I could do a lot of things.
Also going up to CFS Alert for a six month tour from March 1992 to September 1992 changed my life.

Some. A friend taught me to swim underwater when I was in high school and I took swimming class in college. More comfortable in a pool than open water.

Dark hair, light skin. My theory is that maybe it's because my family are all dark blonde/tan easily. You like what is different

Yeah. I still do it, sometimes *ashamed of myself*. I'm a hermit, by nature, and sometimes the thought of social interaction drains me.

Can I have 2? Shoes and the folder with everyone's identifying information (SS cards, birth certificates, marriage license, etc.).

2 biggies: 1) meeting my husband. I never thought I'd ever get married, let alone have kids. I learned to never say never, and that love is more than a theoretical possibility. 2) when my dad and brother died within 6 mos. of each other. Dark, dark time. I lost a few years there (I quite literally have almost no memory of the 2 years afterward), but I learned that I'm stronger than I thought I was. I had my tussle with God and learned a lot about myself, my place, and what is really important between us. The Man and our kids played a big part, too: I wasn't the best mom or wife through my fog, but they stuck with me; without them I likely wouldn't be here at all.

Nah. I've read too much time travel to think 'do overs' are a good idea. As paper_is_sweet said, I might mess up the good stuff trying to change the bad. (And nice THE WAY WE WERE reference, danie )
