1. What’s something you know you spend too much time doing?
Browsing/playing online :p

2. What was the most boring thing you did this past weekend?
Laundry.

3. What was the most exciting thing you did this past weekend?
I don't know if I should say this here, but my husband and I went to a nudist resort. It was so fun!

4. Do you play an instrument? If so, what do you play and how long have you been playing?
Despite piano and flute lessons when I was younger, I don't play.

5. Other than SK, who is your favorite author? And what your favorite non-SK book?
This is tricky...I really like Gillian Flynn and Jodi Picoult. To pick a favorite book is too hard, though.

6. If you could only eat one kind of food for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?
Pizza. Because cheese :D

7. Tattoos? How many? Where are they? What are they? Do they “mean” anything?
I have a red rose on my ankle that means "I was young and wanted to rebel, but not too much".
I also have a small tattoo on my pelvic area that's my husband's initial with mine. I designed it myself, so it's simple but I really like it.

8. What are your hobbies?
Besides reading? I love organizing and decorating the house. If cleaning was considered a hobby, that too. I'm a neat freak (and that's putting it mildly). Only exemption is, I let the kids keep their own rooms how that want.

9. Are you afraid of anything embarrassing? Rabbits or daffodils, for example.
Butterflies. I'm ok with spiders, but any other insect freaks me out, butterflies included.

10. Describe your favorite outfit.
I don't have one favorite (all depends on time of year and occasion) but I do like to show off my legs. I walk a couple miles a day and I'm proud of how that makes my legs look. And I almost always wear heels (when I go out, not at the track lol). I'm a short lady.

1. Have you ever camped out in a tent? Describe.
Yes, didn't like it. No comfortable place for nightreading.
2. Can you swim? How did you learn?
Yes, mostly by myself. Loved to bath as a kid but hated swimming iinstructors and taking prizes for swimming so and so many meters.
3. Have you ever toured a famous person's home? Whose?
No, I have toured some castles but as castles, that is buildings, not for the persons that lived there
4. What SK character do you think would be enjoyable to chat with on the SKMB?

6. What type of physical characteristics are you most attracted to? (i.e., dark or light hair, redhead, eye color, dark- or light-complexioned, etc.)
Search me but the girls i have been most attracted to have been having dark hair but i tend to look for more personal traits.
7. Did you ever pretend to be sick to get out of something like school, etc? Describe. (Thanks, pegasus216 , for this question!)
Yes, many times. I stayed away from school on that excuse or pretended to go there until i know my parents were away to work so i went home. Mostly because i was afraid to go to school.
8. If your dwelling were on fire, and you had time to grab one item (nonliving) before escaping, what would it be?
Don't know.... My ipad perhaps? there are books, music and a computer there.
9. Have you ever experienced a "life-changing" event? Tell us.
Yes it was on stage. Because of the bullying in school i was a very shy boy afraid of friendships. University changed that and the turning point was this play. I had written part of it and played a minor part and people liked it. To hear people actually laughing with you instead of at you is an enormous difference.
10. If you had the chance to do it all again, tell me, would you? Could you?
Yes, of course.

Weekly Survey, July 13, 2015
Weekly Survey, July 13, 2015.

1) Have you ever camped out in a tent? Describe.
Yes, last time out up at Mount Kaputar National Park. Many kangaroos come to smell what you’re cooking. Also, stupidly put my name down to escort some students on a Duke of Edinburgh camping trip a while back.

2) Can you swim? How did you learn to swim?
I learnt to swim as I had asthma as a child and my mother heard or read that the actor Clint Walker also had asthma as a child and he overcame it by swimming. So, I started learning to swim on cold mornings on a weekend.

3) Have you toured a famous person’s home? Whose?
Isaac Newton’s place at Woolsthorpe; Sherlock Holme’s place; the Sir Edward Hallstrom museum at Coonable; William Dobel’s place at Wangi; went to see the ‘Village’ near Porthmadog , in Wales, where they made the TV series ‘The Prisoner’ starring Patrick McGoohan.

4) What SK character do you think would be enjoyable to chat with on the SKMB?
Michael Corey Ryerson, cemetery groundsman of the cemeteries in Salem’s LOT. I’d liked to talked to Corey and ask him what it has been like living as a vampire since 1975.

5) If Stephen King were reading posts on this board incognito, what username do you think he’d choose?
Jon Mosely Canashdantrashness jnr the 9th.

6) What type of physical characteristics are you most attracted to? (ie, dark or light hair, redhead, eye color, dark or light complexion?)

A woman similar in appearance to my mum: brunette/black hair, white, Anglo-Celt. I watched Cape Fear(1961, and by the way they made a mistake in the Robert Mitchum Filmography, they didn’t list The Big Sleep, made in 1978, a movie set in England also starring Joan Collins, and Jimmy Stewart.) last night and I think the actress Barrie Chase is cute.

7) Did you pretend to be sick to get out of something like school, etc

Yes, sometimes I didn’t do study for a test or didn’t read the prescribe text in English because I was reading my own stuff and knew I would fail the exam.

8) I your dwelling were on fire, and you had to grab one item(non-living) before escaping, what would it be?
Photo albums, stuff like that.

9) Have you ever experienced a ‘life-changing’ event? Tell us.

I have had certain events in my life that at the time I thought were ‘epiphanies’. I am always conscious of not becoming what I hate in life. I try to think of , ‘ there but for the grace of God, go I’. It is hard though, you can be in the best of moods, and within five minutes of being around people, I can feel my blood pressure rise.

10) If you had the chance to do it all again, tell me, would you? Could you?

I believe that there is a slight truth in the idea of reincarnation. Obviously, you don’t come back exactly like a previous living person, but, if you share a similar genetic predisposition, and have shared a similar upbringing, and other factors, you might think like that person, act like that person, share interests like that person. I believe in predestination. Would I want to do it all again? Yes and No. Cut out the bad bits. Life’s too short.
