Haven't seen that one. At this point, as soon as I hear Will Ferrell is in it, I lose interest. Might have to give it a try, though.
Short intro without giving anything away... Will's character wakes up one morning hearing a voice in his head, narrating what he is doing. (brushing teeth, thinking about work, etc.) Turns out, he's a character in someone's novel and she's thinking about killing him off. I really enjoyed it. If you watch, let me know what you think.

Just a little picking up today. Same drill with the kids as yesterday, "Be quiet! Dad/Papa is sleeping!" ;-D ;)

Didn't get the dusting or vacuuming done last night. (Only downstairs needs it, did upstairs the other day.) But did get all the wash done but one load. So that is on tap, again, for tonight. SSDD, right? :p

Did I ever tell you guys how much I hate night shifts and trying to work all my chores around them? Ugh. I keep reminding myself that it is a good problem to have these days, though. At least he still has a job. Silver linings. :)

I always thought Canadian women were a bit tougher. :)

I'm a bit concerned about the Canadian men.

I hunted for the spider and could not find it. Finally gave up. While we were watching tv, my husband whispers to me "He didn't see that spider in the bathroom, did he? It was HUGE!"

I could not believe my husband just left the freaking spider there, knowing full well, our son will skip a shower if he sees one in the bathroom.

So then, the kid is in the kitchen complaining that I did not kill the spider, because it's still on the wall and now he is refusing to go in and brush his teeth, instead he's using his dad's bathroom. (Two piece bathroom, no shower.) Dad does not like this because dad is a germaphobe and doesn't like to share.

I told them both off...used a lot of f's....went upstairs and killed the spider.

I actually understand both phobias. Son is allergic to insects. Spiders bite, and when they bite him he will have a large area (like half his arm) swollen for over a week. There is always the risk it could be anaphylactic next time. So, a very legitimate fear.
Husband has a chronic disease which a germ that causes most people a bit of coughing or stuffed up, could be much more serious for him. I understand.
But husband could have killed the spider.

LOL.

I have two huge spiders that have made webs on both sides of the covered entry to the front door. They've been there for about a month. They're now about the size of a quarter and growing. They only come out at night. We're letting them be to see how big they eventually get and because they kill off all the little nastys (and to scare people off that think they can show up any time of the evening). When it comes to the inside though... all the womenfolk are afraid of spiders and it's my job to kill them. They can't believe I do it with my bare hand most of the time. :)

You're my hero.

I don't know why husband is woosing out like this. He is not allowed to develop a phobia of spiders or insects.
The only thing that scares the willies out of me, would have me screaming like a little girl, and running in terror is the sight of a pregnancy test on the sink of the bathroom off our bedroom. :)

Oh... And heights.
