Should have checked out the price first. Ye gawds $9.99 a pound for 1-1/4 pounders and $11.99 for the 1-1/2 & up!! That's a bit on the pricey side for us. I may be on to Plan B.

Lobster is its own dessert.Lobster--which I'm going to have them cook at the store so I don't have to find the big lobster pot that is somewhere in the garage, about a pound of melted butter for dipping, cole slaw, not sure what else at this point but don't have time to make potato salad or blueberry pie which are the traditional side dishes/dessert for us so that may be it. Do you really need anything else?Can't remember the last time I had lobster but my partner's sister is in town from NV and that had been on her wish list.
Will they put it in empty lobster shells for you?
How close is the nearest lobster shack? I'm sure they have a few empties lying around....

Think I'm reconsidering the $$ and will just bite the bullet for the real stuff. After all I do owe her a little something for putting up with him for the next 2 weeks in his post surgery rehab while I'm on vacation in AZ enjoying the 80/90 degree weather, lounging around pool side, massage already scheduled.

That sounds like the perfect meal. Is there a good bakery around that might have fresh blueberry pie? Enjoy!!

I haven't had lobster in ages. Now I want lobster and artichokes and white wine and... *sigh* *daydreaming*LOLOL! Pretty sure you add chips/crispy tortilla strips at the end, but who knows?
Unless things go awry, we'll be having spicy tilapia (chicken breast for The Man, since he doesn't like fish), couscous, broccoli, and salad.
Had thought about that, but probably wouldn't be a good idea as my partner is supposed to be avoiding sugar while he's recuperating. Don't want to tempt him.
