Has anyone else made the observation that Stephen King fans like to eat? Ergo, anyone who likes to eat is likely a Stephen King fan? Mind-boggling.
Hey Walter Oobleck - he's a pretty big feller, yet not overweight - wonder if he eats lobster, too! (or just lobstrocities??)

They are delicious but they do look like giant insects to me!

They ARE giant sea bugs :) Did you know that the closest relative to the roly-poly (or potato bug, or whatever it's called in your area) is the lobster?

I don't care. I love the tasty, tasty sea bugs :)

and did you go for a nice long run danie?
Neesy, you know me well. I ran my 5 miles, and that always makes me eat less later.
A couple of days ago, when I was running, the neatest thing happened. I passed a horse in a fenced-in field, and he put his head over the fence so I did my "horse snort" at him and he did one back! His field is at a dead end, so I kept running on past him, then swung around at the dead end to pass him by again. As I did, that horse started trotting along beside me as I ran on the road beside his fence! I have to say it brought tears to my eyes to watch that magnificent animal run with me. He'd get ahead, wait for me to catch up, then gallop along with me some more. He ran with me until his fence row made him stop. It was one of those moments where I felt I was in touch with all of nature and God.

That is so lovely - I miss running. When I came back from Alert where I had been running for six months every day, I could run for two hours without stopping. It was like a drug - I needed to go running every day!

I feel the same way--it has become my addiction. Two hours, wow! You rock!
um no - that was in 1992  :a11: so only 22 years ago! (but the feeling was incredible). I have been planning to start with the walking again and see if I can work my way back up to jogging, then running, but it is a lot harder now that I am older.

Had thought about that, but probably wouldn't be a good idea as my partner is supposed to be avoiding sugar while he's recuperating. Don't want to tempt him. :smile2:
Ms. Mod, How is your partner? I've meant to ask several times, remembering at inopportune moments. I forget if you mentioned hip or knee. Hope the healing comes quickly.
