Fine cheese, alcohol (but just a little - must be functional tomorrow), and tea.

It seems when you're this old and spend the day hauling building materials, ripping off siding, putting up new siding, and nailing it in, you're going to pay at the end of the day.

Oowwwwwwwwww.
Better than sitting on your butt all day, chained to a computer for eight hours! (Can you tell I had to work today?)

The woods are lovely dark and deep
We had goulash (hamburger, onions, garlic, stewed tomatoes,) with noodles and cheese. My son wanted mini sliders, so it all worked out.

Neesy, if you use high fat meat, you can 'rinse it' after cooking. A quick spray of hot water will remove extra fat (tip given to me by a dietician I used to work with at the nursing home).

Goulash is an old mainstay of mine, my son adapted it to his family's tastes by using Rotel tomatoes but while warming all the ingredients together he continually stirs in Parmesan cheese which cuts back on the bite of the Rotel (somewhat, phew).

I'm having The Internet IS STOOPY! for supper. And also eggs.

Probably just a bowl of cereal. :(
Oh yay! I had a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and a handful of hot fries for dinner last night. Cooked a full course meal for the family and effing dog ate the plate that I had set aside for myself just a little too close to the edge of the counter. She got grilled chicken, asparagus and a baked potato.

(((((BW101))))) Love leftovers. They are wonderful when you are busy or when schedules aren't in sync. Not everything needs to be immediately made prior- new meal. Sometimes spaghetti and lasagne are better the next day after 'sitting'.
Too true! Spaghetti, and lasagne, and chilis, stews, & soups are almost always better the second day :)
