reading The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins. A very good book for people who think they know what evolution is all about but really doesn't (which is most of humanity). He is good at explaining in a language that everyone can follow. Hesa bit preachy at times but if you can stand that and are interested in evolution and the arguments about it its good.

I will start reading 'Throttle' tonight by King and Hill, and I'm going to buy Sleeping Beauties tomorrow. I want to read Throttle alongside 'Duel', I like how Hill was talking about how his father used to put those discs in the videotape recorder and it took 4 of them to watch the whole of the movie 'Duel' and then they went driving and King was asking questions.

About how groups want to rewrite history like Joseph Stalin did: erase history, pull down the statues because everyone's equal now in today's society as long as you have money, every country is just one big McDonald's franchise. The center isn't holding in America or other Western world countries because once you lose your ethnic/cultural base you lose your identity, but that's what they want, divide and conquer, no borders, everyone just in it for themselves and trying to destroy the next person to get their little bit of the pie that is slowly being destroyed as the middle classes wither away. Let's all go to the mega-mall and worship.

Does the book have a name? Sounds fascinating.

I am about 60 pages into Sleeping Beauties. Cannot find time to read! I was hoping to have it read by the time of the event Monday, but do not see it happening.
Tell Children, Husband, dogs and cats that they must find food for themselfes for a day. That you need your Stephen King Fix. There has to be understanding for that, surely??

Myself i found John Boynes Crippen in a second hand bookstore. Perfect condition for a dollar. Dont know anything about this book but have read This Hause Is Haunted and The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas which both were very good. Very different too. So i have hopes about this one.
