Page 404. (From the Lost World) I haven't picked it up for a week or two.
Are ye at the Easter sunday scene yet? Not a biggy but I laughed me ass off.
I am reading Jack Ketchum. He makes me uncomfortable really. How many stories of bondage can he tell? Girl Next Door and Right to Life? Why all this stuff? It makes my skin crawl. Is he whached or something....just saying.

Can anyone tell me if they've read Cyborg by Martin Caidin, and if it's good. I have Lee Majors' autograph. In 1976, Craig Otis and myself waited outside the hotel where he was staying in Sydney. We were going, boop, boop, boop, boop.

Reading some Thomas Mann. Found an old, old HB of The Thomas Mann Reader at Goodwill, decent condition. I'm usually wary of translations, but this one, by Joseph Warner Angell, seems pretty good. Doing the essays first. The one about old Schiller is quite profound.

Dunno, just diggin some old German authors lately--sniffin around, seein what's what. Got a big volume of Goethe on the back burner as well. Trouble is, all the research you gotta do just to find decent translations.

Finally got around to Joe Hill NOS4A2! Bra freaking vo I love love love this book. I know that I shouldn't want to but can I get a mouth full of gingerbread gas, take a trippy ride in the wraith, and land in good old Christmas land?!
NOS4A2 was excellent - I loved it! :snowman:
