Have 57 pages left of Game of Thrones and Clash of Kings is waiting in the wings. We don't have HBO so I've only seen snippets when they've had a free weekend as I didn't want to watch it out of order. I'd like to get through all of the books before trying to find it elsewhere on video to do a binge watch.
I very much like this book series, independent of the TV series. #4 was difficult to get in to, but well worth it when I finally did. He did an unusual thing with #4 and #5: #4 focusses on the 'lesser' characters, #5 is the 'bigger' characters' adventures, running simultaneously with #4, then the storylines come together again at the end of #5. It was different, but I ended up liking the way Martin handled such a big, sprawling cast. Wish he'd get #6 out
