The woods are lovely dark and deep
It's the second in a series (I think there's going to be at least one more judging from the way Rise The Dark ended) and there's just too much info in the Last Words that you need for the second one.
I seem to be struggling with Last Words
Mark has just listened to hypnotist's tape of their encounter and watched video of Ridley
It just seems to drag. Did you have a problem at this junction or is too much going on at my end that I cant concentrate?

Finished Turn Of The Screw earlier today. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm now knee-deep in Skeleton Crew. "The Mist" guts me every. single. damn. time.

Also, this collection would be so much more consistent if Tygers, Wedding Gig, both Milkman stories, Uncle Otto's Truck, and For Owen had been cut. Just my opinion.

I found this random book and I thought it was a pretty good read. Something light and funny if you understand and still respect bookstores and books in print. It's called "Weird Things Customers Say in Bookstores" by Jen Campbell. It has one Stephen King reference and also the Sewickley, PA bookstore submitted something that had Stephen King's book signing.

That's a great book. The author has a YouTube channel, too, and recommends many quirky and interesting books.

finished finders keepers. enjoyed the story. kindle. before finishing--as i read the story--i'd get these ads on the kindle. "ruthless" going for .99-cents for a limited time. yeah, okay, i'll bite. "the buried book." same thing. same price. was 14.99 or something like that. never heard of either writer, or title. funny, there must be a hundred stories with the title "finders keepers". in case you're ever challenged with a trivia question related to that. tell em the oobleck sent ya. cracked open the watch, read a few lines. don't know if i should keep at it. headin out to the bush in a minute or two. happy sunday! :)

Libraries, too. People would call and ask, "Yeah...is this the lie-berry?".
I had to grit my teeth and say yes it was. Also, some would ask, "Do you have the book 'How To Kill A Mockingbird? ". Really? Lol.

Dark Forces. I had a copy years ago, but it disappeared. So I bought it again! I was thinking this was the one with "The Night Flyer'", but it has "The Mist" (a good story, as well). Does anyone remember which anthology first had "The Night Flyer"?
Wiki says Prime Evil. New Stories by the Masters of Modern Horror

I do think so. Love when I have random finds. It doesn't happen often. I should make myself go more to the bookstore just for that fact. Of course, since I could waste hours in a bookstore, I do it only when I have the time, which isn't often.
