I'm a bit zombied out but the first book is only 99 cents (kindle) so I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion! :) Does the 12th book in the series end the story?

Hi bounce!
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, but Jewish New Year started on October 3 and that more or less blows out the following month (but in a good way).
The 12th book is the end of the road, but if you want to read and read and read, economy-style:

Hey rudiroo!

I started reading 'Cell' again. Swear, I must have forgotten it, or never finished. I remember loving the the beginning.. After that, well I don't remember..

Liking it this time, for sure.
Creepy part when

All the crazies eyes opened at the same time lying side by side, at the college stadium right before daylight. yips!

I could probably stand a re-read of this one too. I remember it being a fun, quick, and rather amusing read. Not Uncle Stevie's best, nah, but some super cheesy fun all the same. The kind of King I like to call a 'drive-in novel'. Like The Mist, or Thinner.

Happy New Year Rudiroo! :) Did you have gefilte fish? I looooove gefilte fish.

I'm glad the author wrote an end for the series - some authors just keep writing sequels without ever ending the story, and thanks for the kindle tip :)

Just finished Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock. I liked it, but as I mentiomed before, the footnotes were a distraction. The story itself was good, but could've been longer.

I have a $20 gift card and I'm trying to decide between the new Jodi Picoult ($15 ebook) or a couple less expensive (but less anticipated) ebooks.
I think I'll do my usual...download the sample, then see if I care what happens to the characters enough to spend the $$$.

Today I finished EoW. Thank you so much for a terrific trilogy, Stephen. I loved the characters in this series and it feels weird not to be checking in with them each day now that I'm done.
(don't want to post any spoilers so will leave it at that for now)
There is a good change , in the future, that Steve plans on revisiting a certain female character. Hints were given during his last tour!

You are totally right in my opinion. Watership Down is a big masterpiece.
I have just put a hold on Watership Down at my local library, haven't been back to this one since I was a child. It made me cry back then... (the song still does ) if it has the same effect now that I've grown, I'll be knocking at your door for tissues, chocolates and other comfort food n drink. :biggrin2:

I've never seen the movie. But boy, did I love Fiver. I must re-read this.

Hint: There is a glossary in the back that I found out after learning rabbit-speak on my my own. I liked it better that way, but still smacked meself when I saw it.

And I must add, I would have never read the book - If SK did not mention Stu was reading it in 'The Stand'

Then it led me to read more Richard Adams. Ah this one, the horse.
