I just finished "Career of Evil," by Robert Galbraith (wonderful, as usual), and am now reading "The Happiness Project," which is non-fiction, and really liking it so far (Chapter 1).

What did you think of Career of Evil?I just finished "Career of Evil," by Robert Galbraith (wonderful, as usual), and am now reading "The Happiness Project," which is non-fiction, and really liking it so far (Chapter 1).
What did you think of Career of Evil?
Nope. I haven't read of them yet. I wil not admit how many books I have read this year. This has not been a good reading year for me.I liked it. It seemed a bit darker, more pessimistic than the first two, but I liked it. Have you read it?

I read this when it first came out. I thought it was pretty good. The movie was recently released but seems to have disappeared.Good morning.
I'm reading Room by Emma Donoghue. I got a little sick when
It's a five year old speaking and I realized he was born in Room and has never left it. His mother was kidnapped and imprisoned in Room. Her kidnapper/rapist impregnated her and the boy was born in the room. He has no clue there is an outside world.
I hear you. I just can't seem to sit and read for long periods of time anymore. I think a lot of it has to do with my getting older and also the fact that I sit and read & write at the computer all day for a living.Nope. I haven't read of them yet. Sad, sad premise, awesome book.Good morning.

That's my problem, too. By the end of the day, I need a break not just from the computer screen but reading itself. I have times when I'm more in the mood for reading but sadly it's not as often as I used to years ago. Something else I'm hoping will change come.retirement
I am way below that number. At least you all have a good reason! I have only read 19 books all year. Used to be a time I could check out 4 and 5 books at a time from the library and have them all finished in the 2 week time period before they were due back. I don't know what has happened to me!
