I watched the pilot and didn't like it. Too silly.
I agree. Just got on my nerves.
I had a friend recommend Happy Valley, and binged the first season. Female cop in the UK--great story line and characters. I really love James Norton in this. I did have to turn on the closed captioning. Couldn't understand half of what they were bloody saying!
I have two more episodes of Freaks and Geeks which I'm avoiding watching because I can't bear it to end.
Actually the first three episodes were terribly silly and then it mellowed out for a bit and then it got silly, sillier, silliest and ended. It was a hoot!
