Breaking Bad

My recommendation? Breaking Bad!

Breaking Bad is the best show ever. Watch one episode and you will be hooked. Walt, I miss you!

If you're in the mood for something less serious, Freaks and Geeks is great! I graduated in '82, so everything they do reminds me of me as a teenager. I'm halfway through, and will be sorry when it's over.

The Dr. Blake Mysteries are very good too. Australian, 1950s Post-War era, murder, teensy bit of romance, great acting, character-driven script. Rene, you will fall in love with Dr. Blake!

I echo Sig's and danie's suggestions of Breaking Bad. I've made no secret of my slobbering fanboy-adoration for this show. Nothing has surpassed it in acting, writing, or producing. Period. Prepare to have your heart ripped out...and make sure you have plenty of wine at hand.
Mad Men is brilliant, too, but in a different way.

I'm so glad you like it! Just you wait. It gets better and better. Don't you just LOVE Bill??? There was a kid in my 8th-grade class last year who looks and acts almost identical to him. I love all the actors, the music, everything. I laugh and cry during each episode.

I'm watching the Kim Kelly Is My Friend episode. She's not a nice person. And the James Franco character, Daniel, is a walking hormone. He's also not nice.

I want...(checks list of characters) Lindsay and Nick...Sam and the little cheerleader...and Bill and the designated driver young woman, to get together.

A little poofy spot under each eye socket. More visible in video and different lighting. Anyone know what they are called. (It's not temporary puffiness. Theye are always there.)

I noticed that too. I think when the angels got together, and were sprinkling golden starlight in his eyes, they decided to add those things to make him even more irresistible. For some reason, I'm always attracted to stuff like that--a scar, a discoloration, a not-so-straight tooth, anything that disrupts the symmetry or "matchiness" of someone. Plus, his mouth--that little half grin. Eesh.
