Ma'am, wasn't a movie made a gazillion years ago based on the Buffy TV show? I remember something like that. Or I dreamed it.
The movie came first. Joss Whedon was the writer, but apparently hated what the studio did with his script so much that he did it as a TV series, the way he wanted it to be. The first season is okay, but it really picked up steam in the second-5th, the sixth sucked for the most part, and then Whedon wrapped it up nicely in the 7th season.
I'm watching Small Soldiers! I haven't watched this in ages.
