On the last season of Merlin. One of tonight's eps (we're watching 2 a night) had as a central point a certain horn--Cuthbert's horn, the court physician (and former sorcerer) called it. It gave me chills when he revealed it's power. I don't know if Mr. King had this particular Arthurian legend in mind (heck, I'm not sure it wasn't made up for the show), but I really, really hope so. It makes so much sense as to why Roland would need the horn when he reaches the end of his quest, and makes me a little happier about his eventual fate :) I actually got goosebumps when I was watching. I am a HUGE dork.

They're going back to the Dark Tower in a couple of eps--you know, the one you get through by passing through the waste lands...

I've thoroughly enjoyed this show, and am sorry it's almost over (well, for me. It actually aired its last episode in 2012 or 13, I think)

As I may have mentioned in another post I recorded the first season of Breaking Bad.

Had to work this past Sunday and when I got home I noticed my son had it on - only later did I realize I had forgotten to record every episode for that day.

So I missed episodes 1 to 7 of Season Two unfortunately, but did watch all the rest (most of them today).

I'm still in my nightgown - having a very lazy day today so far!

Might be time to go have a soak in the tub soon :bath::m_shower:

p.s. They'll be showing every season of Breaking Bad on AMC all day Sunday for the next little while

You missed 4/7 episodes? Ack! Nooooooo

Enjoy your time.
(My allergies are acting up big time. If mucus was money, I'd be a gazillionaire. AAACKKK!)

Sorry to hear this - hope you can take something to deal with it (Maybe Claritin?)

(Maybe I can find these missing episodes on line? Keeping my fingers crossed)

Edit: they show 12 episodes every Sunday and because I had to work I missed some of them

Forgot to set my DVR

I'm on the last episode of Five Days.

A five-part miniseries that revolves around the disappearance of a young mother in a quiet British suburb and the circumstances that leave her children abandoned far from home.

It's not bad, IMO. If you have something else to watch, you won't miss this. =D

Finished watching The Sopranos series a few days ago. Am still mulling over the ending. Was it you, Doc Creed who said you didn't think it could've ended any other way? I'm on the fence. Generally, ambiguous endings in books and movies really p*ss me off. I always think...Hey, I'm not the one getting paid for this shyte, I shouldn't have to decipher WTH you were trying to get across! LOL Yet, I'm still trying to think of another way The Sopranos could've ended and am coming up blank.
Paulie really irritated the crap outta me - can't believe he was left standing. Was really sad about Bobby. Think he was kinder and more sensitive than the rest of them. Dr. Melfi's character seemed to peter out in the last two seasons, but I'm sure that was intentional. The Adriana thing was and is the most upsetting to me.

I remember when it ended people were all bent out of shape. And 10 years later

I'm watching The Other Side of the Door .

After her young son is killed in a tragic accident, a woman learns of a ritual which will bring him back to say goodbye, but when she disobeys a sacred warning, she upsets the balance between life and death.

Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori Grimes in TWD) stars and it's pretty good so far.
