On the last season of Merlin. One of tonight's eps (we're watching 2 a night) had as a central point a certain horn--Cuthbert's horn, the court physician (and former sorcerer) called it. It gave me chills when he revealed it's power. I don't know if Mr. King had this particular Arthurian legend in mind (heck, I'm not sure it wasn't made up for the show), but I really, really hope so. It makes so much sense as to why Roland would need the horn when he reaches the end of his quest, and makes me a little happier about his eventual fate I actually got goosebumps when I was watching. I am a HUGE dork.
They're going back to the Dark Tower in a couple of eps--you know, the one you get through by passing through the waste lands...
I've thoroughly enjoyed this show, and am sorry it's almost over (well, for me. It actually aired its last episode in 2012 or 13, I think)
