Painting

I have the house to myself for a few days and am doing interior painting including the ceilings. I started Saturday and worked all day Saturday and Sunday on it and now am working evenings during the week. I have one more weekend alone so I'm hoping to be able to finish by Sunday. The ceilings are the worst part because I have textured ceilings and am having to paint with a roller since my house is full of stuff. Preferably, I would paint all the ceilings first but since the house is full of stuff, I have to do sections so I have somewhere to move the stuff. ;-D Now that I have a couple of complete rooms done, it will go faster because I can move stuff in there and not have to move it again until I'm done. The hardest part of painting is all the moving, covering and prep work. The painting is the easy part.
I can't believe you're not finished yet. I'll bring over the power sprayer, and help you knock it out in no time!

...."pork cops"?...is that a LEO wisecrack?????....anyhoo, gotta go in to work in the middle of the night Thursday AM due to the inability of the gerbil brains that run our schedule at work, to have enough coverage.....
Ha! I didn't even notice that!

CHOPS! LOL

And the fish turned out great. I went with roasted sweet potatoes, cubed, instead of mash.

Hoss - you cook? I always tell my girls, if they MUST get married, marry a man who cooks. Dreamy McSteamy!

Pork cops are my favorite! Just don't ask nottie to cook them. ;-D
Yes, I do. I actually have some knowledge of gourmet cooking. I am also well steeped in down home stuff like grilling, smoking, frying, etc.

Probably my most popular dishes among my coterie are my sweet potato & andouille sausage soup, my grilled salmon, and my collard greens. I can bake some too, but definitely not my stronger suit. I am pretty good with holiday trays, such as a bunny rabbit head made from fruit on Easter, etc.

But I digress, I burned my toast this morning. :)
