Just sitting here thinking that the news of Chris Cornell dying just can't be true.
I'm in absolute shock Pegasus. Of my three favorite bands of all time, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden, two out of the three lead singers are now gone. Cornell seemed like a really good guy all around in everything he did. It's a sad day for music.

.....just don't sign her up here....I think that might just be the final straw for Marsha's back......:biggrin2:
She’d be no problem. It’s my better half that might push Ms Mod into early retirement if she joined. But where she posts her political musings she gets thousands of Likes, and she does love her Likes. Me... I prefer the challenge of doing battle behind enemy lines. :)

So far today I have taken a thermometer and hung it up on our deck - I cannot believe it could possibly be minus 3 Celsius on May 19th - what the heck?

This weekend coming up will be the first long weekend in May - Victoria Day

It seems like my geraniums and marigolds survived, so that's a good thing!

I saw this a while ago. Thought I would share. I think this was a few years ago. It's a highschool in novia scotia(?) somthe province close to Maine. The school wrote him a bunch of letters, asking him to,come. The teachers told the students he was from the education bord to see them.

I saw this before. He is so patient with the kids and keeps making them laugh. He acts like they are the most important thing in all the world. When he sits in the chair and faces them, he begins to relate to them as best he can. I find that very touching. He sets them at ease in mere seconds. I'm constantly reminded of his humility and how charitable he is with his time.

No kidding the fact he was willing to go to a high school, in a differnt country (Canada) and talk to them is still amazing. I think he did some sort of community thing after school hours in the town. Or something.
