Now I'm on here. There's a bookshop in town, all new books, everthing $10 each. So me bought The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror Vol 21, in it there's a story by Joe Hill and Stephen King called Throttle. I like those 'Mammoth books of' also got 'Psycho-Mania!', killer stories by: Lawrence Block, Ramsey Campbell, etc, intro by Robert Bloch. I've read maybe half the book before but it's good to buy. Also, the Mammoth book of Black Magic.

I had a pretty fantastic day. Work went well. After work I took our youngest (she's 13) to Paint a Piece. I painted a gorgeous new coffee mug. It's robins egg blue (I did 4 coats!) and I painted red birds on a wire on it. I can't wait to pick it up Friday. I'll post a picture of it. I get so excited for a new coffee mug. My girl did a sugar skull. It turned out pretty cool today. I give today 5 stars.

I'm actually not. I'm a good copier. So I got the idea to make the bird's bodies heart shaped, then a triangle for a tail, tear drop shaped head, speck of a beak, tiny dot of an eye. If I can break it up into logic, I can do it. Every few years I'll get a hankering to paint a new coffee mug.

She said I could get 15% off if I applied for a credit card - guess I could use it once then stick it in my freezer? (I often hide my credit cards in my fridge freezer - it stops me from carrying them around and using them :big_money:
