We had one for about a week that we got for one of my daughters. I was conned into taking it from someone who couldn’t keep the thing anymore. Gawd awful noisy squawking critter! My sister-in-law wanted to borrow it for her daughter’s "show and tell" assignment at school, and when they got there she dropped the cage getting out of the car, and the cockatiel became "Free Bird." I was heartbroken (NOT!).
I'm a mute swan. ... Don't really know about mute. I'm good at sticking my swan feet in my mouth. lol!

Well, since we all know that animals attack you ala Damien and the baboons, it's probably best you don't have birds in your crib.
LOL... Oh but I do. After the cockatiel flew the coop; in a momentary lapse in judgement called "sympathy," I took her to get a pair of parakeets. So now we have twice the noisy pleasure at half the size. Funny how they conveniently don’t tell you at the pet store that they live for 10 to 14 years. (And they also bite the hand that feeds them!)

I'm cockatiel too! Better than being called a turkey, I guess.
I was actually hoping for the owl since that is my favorite animal, but I ended up as a hawk, so.....I sort of improvised?

I got red tailed hawk.....really wanted to be a vulture. Think they are amazing birds. Oh well beggars can't be choosers.
