Some cool hand tools, but I really liked this shirt.

So true. I don't go to concerts but maybe that would be different if I could go to see Queen, Nirvana, Pink Floyd (original) etc.

My favourite gift was a 100ml bottle of Lacoste L.12.12 (White) because it costs more than I could justify spending on a non premium aftershave/edt (£38) - I love my smellies. Or my Neville Southall autobiography. One of those, or the mound of chocolate and sweets i got.

...dear god, I'm SUCH a nurse...I first read that as a 100ml bottle of Lactulose...I'm thinkin'..."gee, problems with constipation or too much ammonia in yer system dude???"...Derp.....

I didn't read it as Lactulose Giant, but I thought at first it was a type of alcohol (like champagne or something). I definitely need to get out more

Of course I guess you could drink aftershave if you were desperate but I wouldn't advise it!

Ha ha, @GNTLGNT d'ya think I'm some kind of Eddie kaspbrack type of person? :)

@Neesy if someone bought me champagne for Christmas I would shake it up and aim the cork at them, vile stuff. I have an ooccasional amaretto and the occasional southern comfort. Aside from that, I don't really drink.

You are right, I was talking about this.

As I have stated before, my household doesn't celebrate Christmas because of religious beliefs, but I did give myself something. A new TV for my bedroom. The one I had was a big old thing with a VCR combo. I had that TV for a very long time! The one I have now is so slim, and every time I go in my room it looks funny not to see that big monster that I had in there.

Mary - are you Jewish? or just not any religion? I'm just curious, not judging. My family didn't celebrate religion at all when I was growing up (I'm a convert), but we did celebrate Christmas as a cultural gift giving thing, family dinner thing like most people I knew did. It is nice to go from a big monster console tv to a new slim version. We still have one monster in the house, but the others are upgrades.

Karen, and Sam are Jehovah witness'. I hate the fact that they are too. So because of that, and the fact that I live with them, we don't do anything for Christmas. (They believe that Jesus was born in the summer)
I grew up in a Methodist house, so my mom went all out at Christmas with the decorations, and dinner, and the baking, and such. I miss that so much.
I have often told Karen that my last words to her would be to stop being a Jehovah witness.
I'm not religious any more, but I still feel there is something guiding us, I just don't know what.

Mary (Pegasus) - we switched from the old style TVs to new flat screen ones with HD (high definition) - wow - what a difference! I called 1-800-GotJunk to come pick up the old sets as they were so heavy.

The only thing I know about Jehovah's Witnesses is that they used to come to my door at the most inappropriate times and I finally had to tell them to go away. I never ever invited them in but they just would not give up!

I went to school with a kid who was a Jehovah witness, and he got into a bad car accident. Because of that religion, he couldn't have blood transfusions. He died because of that. I don't understand how parents could let their children die because of that. I have hated that religion ever since.

My Grandfather died because he choose not to have a blood transfusion. However, he was in a nursing home for a couple years before that and had lost my Grandmother a year or so before.Still I have trouble understanding .

Ÿou need some some YSL L'Homme, that smells good. Is anyone familiar with the practice of women wearing men's cologne? I guess it is common and acceptable now a days if you really like a smell-- I'm old school, I don't want to smell like a dude, so it's going against my sensibilities to wear a men's fragrance. Thoughts?

My oldest son loves to read their literature they leave. It's all religion, way wah wah, but then they will have some odd science article with facts about tigers or bears or what have you. No rhyme or reason, just some random science lesson.

Yes! That would be me!~ and here I thought I was the only one :hmm: For example I prefer Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani for men rather than the one for women.

I have also noticed that if Avon comes up with a new fragrance and there is one for women and also one for men, I almost always prefer the men's version.

Oh my god! That is the exact perfume my young friend wears and she's the one telling me to wear a men's cologne if I like it!

I guess it has sort of a citrusy smell to it. I have not had it in a while as it is quite expensive. My husband was going to buy me some at Duty Free when we travelled to North Dakota last summer but I think I told him to not bother. Pretty bad that I can't remember if I got any or not!

p.s. Just went upstairs and I have a huge bottle of it in my dresser - wow - I totally forgot it was in there and have not been using it (weird).

I just sprayed it on myself and it is nice but then I am kinda weird anyway. I did not think women wearing men's colognes was a trend. Of course out here in Winterpeg haha we are behind the times! Thanks for reminding me of my cologne Dana Jean!

I noticed a trend a little while ago where everywhere I went I could smell women wearing 'A' star by Thierry mugler - it's the most horrible, sickly overpowering smell you could wear. My auntie sometimes wears her son's jean Paul Gauthier - la male.

@Neesy aqua di gio is my joint favorite male smell along with chanel allure sport. Only problem is I can't afford them. I have a 50ml slap on allure sport because that was £30, but 100ml edt's for both are £63.

My Grandparents were Jehovah Witnesses. There for are holidays were always without a good share of our relatives. It makes it hard for the ones who celebrate. We still get Jehovah's witnesses at our door sometimes. Even though we have asked them to stop coming,so we just don't answer the door for them anymore.
My grandma was too!!!
