I found a Pet Semetary hardcover. It looks like a first edition, but the copyright page is different from what I'm seeing online. On the cover it looks like it was signed by Stephen King with a gold pen. It looks like a signature, not an imprint. Here is a picture-- pet sematary first edition pictures - Google Search

It looks like there are a lot of these books, with the same signature in the same spot on the front cover... Still it looks like a real pen signature.

Did you find it in a thrift shop? Because when I go to your link, the price is $495.00 - hmmmm - either a fake or a really excellent deal? :umm: If you did actually get a great deal, then that is great! :chuncky:

Sorry, Jonesy, but the signature is a facsimile. It is his siggy, just done as a reprint by the publisher.

I have several old hardcovers (without the dust jackets) with the gold "signature" from the library's used book sales and remember being excited the first time I found one! But, until I get an authentic signed copy, they will have to suffice for now!

It's the story that counts, my friend. King could write a tale on paper grocerybags and I would treasure it more than my signed books.

Birthday is coming, so to celebrate, got some SK Merch! A couple of new shirts and a sweatshirt! Still irritated I didn't get that Needful Things design when it was around! Of course, I still need to get a custom gunslinger shirt from Shasta's husband! When I finish the Tower, that's my goal. Excited for the new book, that's my next purchase. I didn't pre-order because I wanted to go out and get it at the bookstore near my work! Can't wait!

Belated happy birthday to ya! It's not on yer profile or we'd have been all over that! Maybe you didn't want an SKMB party?

Thank you so much! Birthday was May 29.(not that anyone cares, but I turned 37, when I am 45, I plan to start fibbing about my age or not saying anything) Oops not updating my profile. My birthday feels like every other day!

Just received my copy of Screamplays from Cemetary Dance. This thing is HUGE! I don't think it will even fit in my bookcase! It contains King's screenplay for 'General' which was a segment in the movie Cat's Eye.
Waiting for mine. I got Smoke and Mirrors the other day. Both of these books I purchased with a gift certificate I won through one of their giveaways so didn't cost me a thing!
