I absolutely LOVE Rocknrolla!!!! Everybody is so freaking good in this movie! Yes, Hardy's 'coming out' scene is hysterical! Wuthering Heights is on my 'wish list' on Amazon....
I saw it on Netflix, I think (though I don't know if it's still there). I never thought I could like anyone in the role as much as I liked Sir Laurence Olivier, but Hardy actually topped him. I was seriously floored.

Nice haul! I've been wanting to get a 1st of Jaws myself. As for Simmons- an ARC of his latest (The Fifth Heart) just sold on Ebay for over $200!

AbeBooks has Lovedeath ARC's going for like $15. They must have put out a lot of them. Still excited to have it in my collection. I don't generally collect ARC's, but if I see one from one of my favorite author's for a good price I'll snag it.
I picked up an ARC of Summer Of Night for less than$20 a few months back.

Found three hardcovers yesterday at Goodwill. Dolores Claiborne, Song of Susannah, and The Dark Tower. (book 7)
All three books were in pretty darn good shape, too. The best part? All three are original prints. My husband bought them for me and spent a whopping $9. I feel like a kid in a candy store! :biggrin2:

I want to 'lose' my library book. Numbered (794 0f 1000), signed copy of They Thirst. *sigh*
It simply amazes me that these signed copies of books end up in a library system. First of all, they're usually quite expensive. Second of all the publishers of these signed books usually say that all copies are sold out, so how do libraries end up with signed collector books? I've been able to grab up some of these editions at cheap prices after the libraries pull them from circulation after a few years of having them in their library system. Skimom- are you on Subterranean Press's emailing list? If not, you might want to sign up. They have 50% off sales every now and then and you might be able to snag a copy of They Thirst at some point.
