I'm with you, in a sense. I would like to remove my underscore; I went with the underscore as it was an unavailable user name thing... and the name, "samantha" was an homage for me.

So, Samantha without underscore would be cool. If you figure it out let me know.

It's because there are already 12 variations of Samantha including one samantha, so no way to change your user name without the underscore unless you have some other extra letter or symbol with it.

I didn't realize there were so many variations of how to pronounce pasta! Of course it reflects on my New England heritage, but I say it pah sta. :)

I didn't either until the Canadia coworker! I say it the same.

"You say Shas-ta, I say Sha-star
You say Paw-sta, I say Pass-ta...
Shas-ta... Sha-star
Paw-sta... Pass-ta...
Lets call the whole thing off,
leeeets call the whooooole thing ooooff."

;;D

That's amazing. :biglove:

My grandmother (she's not Canadian...) sometimes calls it Pass-ta, but most other people around here call it pah-sta.

Think I will change me name to Sourdough Sarah or something. I need to show me rockie mountain western.

I will always think of you as Staro, no matter what you do. Just like I call @Sundrop Sunny, no matter what, even though I'm completely aware of her real name. Mail I address to her goes to Sunny. Can't help it.

With all the talk about how words are pronounced, some might enjoy this little test that determines what American accent you have. At first, looking at the questions, I thought "yeah right." But to my surprise it was very accurate in my instance.
What American accent do you have?
Apparently I'm from the Northeast. (97%) :biggrin2:
