The name is pronounced "shas-ta" not "shaw-sta," which I get a lot!

I'm with you, in a sense. I would like to remove my underscore; I went with the underscore as it was an unavailable user name thing... and the name, "samantha" was an homage for me.
So, Samantha without underscore would be cool. If you figure it out let me know.

It's been coming out as "Sha-star" in my head.
I didn't realize there were so many variations of how to pronounce pasta! Of course it reflects on my New England heritage, but I say it pah sta.

That's amazing.

Apparently I'm from the Northeast. (97%)With all the talk about how words are pronounced, some might enjoy this little test that determines what American accent you have. At first, looking at the questions, I thought "yeah right." But to my surprise it was very accurate in my instance.
What American accent do you have?
