They say it's going to snow about 8 -9 inches tomorrow and Thursday. I won't be able to get out to clean off car to go to scheduled doctor appt. Too much.
It's enough to wake up at this point. I will just say, oh hell no.

Whaa wahha. thanks for letting me whaa.

Today it's nice enough to have windows open.

After strong winds the night before last, much of the snow was melted yesterday and it was warmer with some sunshine so I actually dared to venture out. One of my stops was the local recycling bins to see if enough space was free to make it worth packing materials over there. I found conditions better than usual. Got up today with all good intentions and was deluged by a near blizzard of snow with gusting winds and temperatures maybe 20º colder than yesterday. Pursuing other jobs, but recycling is on hold pending whatever the heck comes next!

Speaking of open windows, the back window on my Jeep Liberty just gave out and slid down yesterday - cannot get it to come back up

It's about minus 19 out there and with the wind chill even colder

:(

Good thing I have a 'back-up' Durango to drive to work

(bonus part is - he has heated seats in his!) :m_sore: (have to turn them off after about five minutes)
:too_hot:

...sounds like the "cord" broke or slipped the track...could be the motor as well....

I have an appointment for this Saturday for it to be looked at - this same window was fixed once before. Back then it would slip down a few inches then stop - I would push it back up and then tape it - this time it just went down suddenly.

Hope they can figure it out and it is not too costly :broke:

58 degrees today and a forecast for 9 inches of snow tomorrow, which means I'll probably get a foot of snow as the storm stalls at the Blue Mountain. I'll probably leave early today to get a new battery for the Jeep Liberty as the one I got in November won't charge now. :(
...a dud battery....hope the warranty is still good....
