...a dud battery....hope the warranty is still good....
Battery is just over three months old. Warranty is one year. I called yesterday and they said to bring it back and it will be pro-rated. So I took it back and they told me they couldn't process it because the automotive department was closed. So my only option was to buy a new one and pay the extra because of no returned battery as the one I had was to be exchanged. Plus the battery was $20 more than the price I had printed out. Their online price and store prices are different and they can't match it. The manager was sorry but adamant they couldn't do anything. The clerk felt bad but I said it was okay because of the aggravation I was just going to bring back the bad battery (same as the one I purchased and looks brand new) tomorrow and use this receipt to get a full refund. She said I should do that after the way I was treated.

It's been a brutal winter. I've had to wear a long sleeve shirt a couple of times.
Where's Sunny's stick when you need it? :)

8 inches on the ground and still coming down. I have a cold and have decided to work from home unless an emergency comes up and I have to drive in. Roads must be bad as there is almost no traffic going up to the ski resort.

Going to make some coffee now and watch the bird survival of the fittest fight over at the bird feeder. It's a mad house out there. I'll fill it back up a little later.

Hope all in the storms path are safe. We hit record highs in the 70s last two days. Woke up at 5:30 to 54F, by the time I left the house at 7:25 it was down to 43F. May get a flurry or two later, but nothing like you folks in the NE. Good ((warm)) thoughts your way!

Sending good vibes to everyone in the NE! Stay safe and warm.

We are getting a little break today, supposed to hit 52. :applause: But, also windy...gusts over 40 mph. It will do a number on the snow we have but it would be soooo lovely to have a sunshiney day without wind. Ahhh, Wyoming. ;)

We have a little snow blowing around, and school has been called off. We have a high wind warning and are supposed to get a few inches of snow. I don't think it's gonna happen. Then again, thought the last storm would miss us, and we got six inches. I also thought Trump would lose the election. Given those odds, maybe I should stop by the grocery store on the way home.......

Today is cloudy but 73° and no coat is needed. March could throw us a curveball but I think Spring is wanting to come early. This morning I saw the first pops of yellow around the garbage cans: dandelions. A single yellow daffodil in the island of gray overgrowth. Blue skies and sunshine expected in a few days.

Lots of snow in and around Kelowna since last Friday. Snowed every day until today and it has stopped :sad:View attachment 19504
Skiing at Big White, a ski resort near Kelowna. The snow formations are called Snow Ghosts.

How do these snow ghosts form like that? Are these just trees covered, or is that actually all snow just stacked and blobbed that way?
