My new windows were installed yesterday, and I can't stop looking at them.....I think I'm in love!
A bubble bee smacked one hard yesterday.....it took him a few minutes, but he shook out the cobwebs and flew off.Yeay for you!
I feel bad for the first bird that flies into one!

Hi Spidey - went through a bit of SKMB withdrawal symptoms as the Board closure took me by surpriseGood to see the Ka-Tet returning. Hope everyone had a safe and fun weekend.
(((all in need or not)))
Our crazy furnace kicked in yesterday! (Of course we did have the windows open)We're back!! I hope everyone had a great, relaxing weekend. We had solid gray gloom and rain from Friday until now, and it's still going strong. Hoping that summer shows up SOON!

Who is Larry? (If I may ask?) Is this "the love of your life"?Saturday was Karen, and Sam's anniversary. I watched the kids while they went to dinner, and then a casino.
Yesterday was Larry's birthday. He was 47 years old. I just gave him a visa gift card, cause he is so hard to buy for.
I already did.....Awesome.
Despite what you said a couple of weeks ago, you will be out there cleaning them soon.
I missed you too, Spidey!Good to see the Ka-Tet returning. Hope everyone had a safe and fun weekend.

I missed you too, Spidey!
So - glad we are back
I had an interesting experience last night.
Just as I was leaving the hospital a very nice looking, well dressed elderly lady stopped me in the hallway to ask for help.
Long story short - she is 89 years old. Somehow she had mixed up her time and was there for a 10 a.m. appointment with her doctor (this was around 10 p.m. last night).
We started talking and although she had bus fare and was able to take a bus back home, I offered to give her a ride since she lived quite close to my neighborhood.
At first I considered calling Security but once we got talking I could see she was quite cognizant of what was going on around her and had simply fallen asleep earlier, woken up and thought it was the morning (the light can trick you at this time of the year, with the days getting longer).
I could go on and on but to summarize she offered me a cup of coffee or tea and I walked her to her apartment. She invited me in - what a beautiful place!
She is in a 55 plus building.
I left her my name and phone number on a card and wrote down her name and phone number - let's hope we can get together in the future!
It almost feels like meeting her was meant to be. She tells me her daughter is a nurse at HSC, where I work
