...I want to give a very public shoutout to some very kind friends...Lin, Doc and KRF-Tracy and I are touched by the warmth of the sentiment in the Christmas cards we received....just another example of the family that is the Tet of King....love you all......
Guess I'd better start my Christmas shopping. There's a couple weeks to go... right? 
While I was at the doctor's office, the Muslim ladies were having a little bit of a Christmas party for the customers at the strip mall. Singing and Christmas trees. They offered all kinds of xmas cake and cookies . I had a butter tart and shortbread. Not allowed for me but I made an exception lol.
The biggest Christmas story we’ve had around here for a couple of weeks was the saga of the RI State House Christmas tree. It lost its needles and dried up, looking pathetic enough for people to protest and start petitions for it to be replaced. Foul play and sabotage have been hinted at. The Governor finally relented to have a tree farm donate a replacement yesterday. I happened to be listening to local talk radio at the moment they removed the poor dead tree and threw it in the wood chipper. 
Did Ms. Mod come down to RI to do the honors? Nope, the little mall at abbots field. The ladies who arranged this were the ones who set up their calendar to feed the poor.
