Did Ms. Mod come down to RI to do the honors? We all know her proficiency with a wood chipper...lolThe biggest Christmas story we’ve had around here for a couple of weeks was the saga of the RI State House Christmas tree. It lost its needles and dried up, looking pathetic enough for people to protest and start petitions for it to be replaced. Foul play and sabotage have been hinted at. The Governor finally relented to have a tree farm donate a replacement yesterday. I happened to be listening to local talk radio at the moment they removed the poor dead tree and threw it in the wood chipper.
It's stored away. I don't do much woodchipping in the winter.Did Ms. Mod come down to RI to do the honors? We all know her proficiency with a wood chipper...lol
So it's safe for me to visit Maine in the winter? It's stored away. I don't do much woodchipping in the winter.

"Nothing to worry about." That's what they always say.

Seeing as how it's on a "millions of years" forecast, I think we can let that worry go for now.

Didn't you watch The Day After Tomorrow? They thought that too.Seeing as how it's on a "millions of years" forecast, I think we can let that worry go for now.
Who invited the she-devil to the party?I'm pretty sure there is a permanent ban on Neanderthals in the state of Maine. Wouldn't you agree Marsha?
Guess I'd better start my Christmas shopping. There's a couple weeks to go... right?
Hear! Hear!
Those who know me won't be shocked to hear I'm unprepared.
Christmas is 6 days away and I am running scared.
Haven't finished shopping; decorating isn't done.
I have got a lengthy list of errands I must run.
(May I take a moment here and just extend the hope
That my lovely friends on Stephen's site don't also cope
With a holiday procrastinator... Which I am.
Which reminds me that I should be ordering the ham.)
Happy, Merry, Holy (or whatever floats your boat)
Holidays to all of you. I'm hoping that this note
Finds you in the best of health and spirits and that you
Have a better New Year than the one we've just been through.
While I was at the doctor's office, the Muslim ladies were having a little bit of a Christmas party for the customers at the strip mall. Singing and Christmas trees. They offered all kinds of xmas cake and cookies . I had a butter tart and shortbread. Not allowed for me but I made an exception lol.
Nope, the little mall at abbots field. The ladies who arranged this were the ones who set up their calendar to feed the poor. That is so nice. What mall was this? North Gate?
