The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
It's -2C here, with snow falling and sticking. While England can and always has got snow at some point during most winters, it's still not very common - especially in cities at lower levels (which Liverpool is) - to see it stuck to the ground. Even a small amount like this is likely to cause travel disruption. Our country is not great at dealing with snow.

The view from my front door is not quite as picturesque as baby blue's hotel.

Yes - perhaps place a nice curtain in front of that 'rubbish bin' (I believe that is what you call it over there) :playful:

This morning on the local morning news the weatherman said later in the day with the white-out snow and hurricane winds traveling will become life-threatening. Expected slippery conditions on the road, downed trees, and downed live power lines.

Road trip! :)

High wind warning through Noon on Saturday......last night we had gusts of 60 mph. A few wind gusts of 90 mph were reported at Grandfather Mountain.....makes the swinging bridge really fun!
I'm parking the car in front of the house instead of the driveway in case the neighbor's willow tree decides to fall. Not sure what to do if the other neighbor's cherry tree decides to fall.....get a new kitchen, I guess.
We lost power for about an hour last night......and that was supposed to be the milder part.
