Well, I managed to get hold of the DT series and am already half way through the first instalment.
I wanted to give the first book a shot and I asked for an unwanted copy on my local freecycle scheme. I was fortunate enough to have someone donate the collection to me so I am one very happy...
Sorry guys - I know I have already asked this in the past but cant find the thread (or ay info online) anywhere.
Does anyone know when the limited / collectors edition of the best novel ever (IMO) is due to be released ?
Sorry about this ........ hope everyone is fab xxx
The other half uses it for fishing but decided we'd make the most of the warm weather. It is a sit on kayak so I wasn't too unnerved by it. Have seen some pretty amazing looking 'yaks - some with see-through bottoms.................. All I can say is I cant wait to get back out on it :) .....
Proper pleased with myself today - took my first steps towards getting over my phobia of water. Went out in the other halfs kayak today - flippin loved it. First time ever and I had a blast. Wont be happy if I'm not aching in the morning though
Epic yoga session this morning. On way called in to see the other half hard at work before I went bargain hunting in a local charity store. A few episodes of the sopranos this afternoon and a nice relaxed evening is in order
hahaha I chuckled a bit when that came up. Set up in good ol' l/pool ......... I gave it a try but wasn't quite for me. Think my perspective was tainted because I'm so close to the city and couldn't distract myself from what I know lol.
Sorry - to be fair though, it was the least offensive to...
Such a shame that there are ........ ahem ......... certain companies / people acting on behalf of the companies that treat this industry as a cash cow. I had the task of organising my ex partners mothers funeral and for a basic, it ran into several thousand pounds -with a large chunk of that...
I have a foot in both camps re this Q. I think a sense of realism heightens horror / fantasy - apply certain situs to everyday life / society / places and it can be imagined, easily enough, for the sense of horror to become reality. You can imagine the chaos if, for example, diseases are...
Yeah i started with SK from about 12 - the goth chick in the library recommended him (and subsequently let me loan from the adult section earlier than rules allowed). I was also watching horror from way before this age. Neither did me any harm at all. Gotta say its totally awesome that you and...
I havent had sight of that piece of work to be honest but ive found it on amazon. Its a subject we will all become familiar with at some point (sad to say but its inevitable). Alot of it is down to the individuals perspective, unfortunately though for some people, its just a job and it...
Currently reading:
'Have you ever seen a ghost?'...'No but...'- by Carle O'Hare. Lots of little ghost stories. Great read and totally worth the £2
The Stand - for the billionth time
362 Belisle Street
Down Among the Dead Men: A Year in the Life of a Mortuary Technician
Loved The Mist - another decent production. Having said that, as with IT, i was disappointed in the ending but there are going to be others who liked and appreciated the ending and will disagree with what i have said - but thats totally fine, each to their own. I mean, as some on here will...
Just recently been introduced to the Batman movies by the other half. The Dark Knight -amazeballs. Heath Ledger ? Amazing - my most favouritist villain ever. Totally made that part his own and no one could have done a better job. Epic movie and epic performance. Oh yeah and we had date night...
