...yep, that deserves a good old ass whuppin’....

Yup, and the fact that the umpires didn't eject Joe Kelly from the game until punches started being thrown is a clear indication they felt that Austin's spike up slide into Brock Holt was intentional.

This makes Sox / Yankees games fun again. It's been awhile since these teams disliked each other so much and have both been good at the same time.

Sox take 2 of 3 from the Yankees!

Pretty good series.

Suspensions from last night's brawl are silly. 6 games for plonking someone who spiked your teammate? I could see two games as you don't want to green light hitting batters but 6 games is just stupid. That's what happens when a former Yankee manager (Joe Torre) is in charge of league discipline.

I wonder when you'll hear the rumblings about Boone's job being in danger? That team is underperforming but that's not his fault. If they don't start winning in the next week or two it's going to get very uncomfortable for him.

Sox vs. Yankees II starts tomorrow!

Sox are still on top but only by a game. Yankees have been playing really well and are on a hot streak. Their bats woke up.

I am expecting a Sox player to get beaned in retaliation for Tyler "I forgot my big boy pants when they promoted me from AAA" Austin getting hit last time. I expect that player to be Mookie Betts. Mookie is the Man and is leading the AL in HRs. Take that Giancarlo Stanton and your bazillion dollar contract!

From "Big Red Machine" to "Red Dead Machine"?

Well, you have the Cavaliers! I'm hoping the Celtics will be facing them in the Conference Finals! However, you should be prepare for LeBron to bone the team and leave again after the season.
....you said it perfectly Swiftser!....I'm not sure how much longer the Cleveland LeBrons can keep this up, and I fully expect the old green weine when the season's over.....I figure he's got about one more unbelievable season in him-then reality will start to catch up....the human body can't keep that ultimate edge forever....

If the Celtics make the conference finals I don't expect them to beat the Cavs. Not without Kyrie and Gordon Hayward. If they can find a way to minimize LeBron, maybe there's a chance but I doubt it.

UGH!

Stupid Sox lost to the Yankees twice in a row. How do you let Brett Gardner beat you??!!

Hoping we can pull out a win tonight. Those Yanks can hit.

I would also plonk Tyler Austin again. Just on general principles.

Meanwhile, Celtics are on their way to play the Cavs! Those poor guys are going to get LeBron'd :(
