Southpark went to a whole new level over the last few years, they've really upped the levels of controversy and insanity. I often watch Southpark thinking "how does that even begin to formulate as an idea in trey and Matt's heads?". I still love it.

The only show in recent years that I have felt compelled to watch the next episode straight after the last was heroes - if you were living under a rock a few years ago you could watch that now.
Heroes was great!
That sign was my favourite !

Don't mention the war.
We quote this one all the time! :biggrin2:

My favorite is the New Years Day marathon of the old b/w Twilight Zone episodes..though the first few season of the walking dead were pretty cool too..

If you like the Twilight Zone, I would recommend Black Mirror on Netflix. It's a British show that is really similar to the Twilight zone and I thought the stories were awesome. And it's only six episodes.

Also, I must add to my list...

The comedy " Brooklyn Nine Nine " with comedian Andy Samberg. I love it.
Also, regarding British shows, I must recommend the show Misfits.
And that Oldie but Goodie, " Are You Being Served? "

Binge watch AYBS if you know what's best for you...

Misfits was brilliant! Especially the first 2 (I think?) series... the ones that still had Nathan in them, he was friggen hilarious!

Hi!

Black Mirror was awesome. Have you watched Darknet?

A macabre web site called Darknet links the tales in this chilling anthology series whose protagonists face a range of unnamable horrors.

I enjoyed it very much. Some of the episodes can be ...disturbing. :icon_eek:

Have a great day.

I have watched four episodes of Twin Peaks. Have mercy. What have you people turned me on to?

In just four short episodes I have seen

Lucy, the police departments dispatcher, a police officer who keeps crying, a dead prom queen, people conspiring to burn down the lumber mill, a neurotic FBI agent, a psychiatrist with objects stuck in his ears, Norwegians escaping a business meeting, a *log lady*, a wife beater, a fish in a percolator, a one armed man, a one eyed woman, a little person who speaks strangely, the goofy gang member from The Warriors, a bereaved father throw himself atop his dead daughters coffin and go up and down in the grave...all set to music suitable to a bad soap opera and really bad music suitable to horrible porn (so I have been told :)).

I love it! xD

Peace.
Yay!! Please keep us posted on your progress! This show is so bizarre. In the best way possible. Plus they're bringing it back for a new limited run on Showtime!

I can't lie, I think the ending of Twin Peaks was bunk. Seemed to me like the writers had this great surreal visual theme going, and wrote more towards the overall feel of the show, verses using the surreal feeling to work towards a fantastic ending. When I found out who really killed Laura Palmer I was really disappointed. I remember thinking that it made for a waste of a great show and to me ruined it.

Hi!

I hope everyone is doing well.

I might be getting some time to kick back and binge watch a TV show I haven't had chance to check out.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!
Personally I loved watching X-Files from the beginning all the way to the end. You can watch the cell phones and computers get smaller! =) Sliders, also sci-fi, is a fun watch too.

Sliders will always have a special place in my heart. When I was a kid I sat at the kitchen table watching it and snacking. I remember watching as faithfully as I could, obsessively. But even as a kid I noticed when it got progressively worse. I feel like that started to change as the lead characters disappeared. I did keep watching though because occasionally the writers still had great ideas. I now own the first season box set and realise in retrospect how campy the whole show is. But I watch it anyway.

That reminds me of the one with Scott Bakula. Quantum Leap! Heheheh. I have binge watched that too.

And I just discovered that you can watch Twin Peaks on Hulu for free at the current moment, every episode. I'm taking advantage even though I didn't like the ending much.
