Oh my, the magic of Christmas is upon us , OoO came back. Now, do not leave us again-------- you have all of December to post EACH week day.
You need 100% acetone. There is some in the Cantina!!

...I have responded to this announcement, with a personal note to Marsha....and that shall remain between us....publicly, I will simply say that when she retires, this Board will no longer be the same that I joined so many years ago and became so intertwined in my life...that part of my heart will be ripped asunder, I don't feel that anything will ever compare, and that's not meant as an insult to anyone-just bluntly, how I feel.....since 2020 seems to be the "expiration date" I am wildly overhauling my thoughts about what WAS going to be the next Kon, and am going to plan a FINAL Kon.....with Marsha moving into a wildly well deserved next phase of life and Steve edging ever closer to hanging up his keyboard, the time has come much sooner than I could have imagined.....KingKon 2020 will be my final bow toward what this group of much loved family has meant to me....I will do my best, that's all I can promise at this juncture.....

As many of you know, I’ve been dropping hints for a while now about my impending retirement. Although I won’t be fully retired next year, I will be cutting down the number of days I’ll be working and the Message Board will be following those same days. Beginning in January, I will only be working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and those are the days the Board will be open. The volunteer moderators will continue to assist with the Board after my regular hours on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

In addition to the official Stephen King Facebook page, below is a partial list of fan-run sites with discussion groups that may be of interest to anyone who wants to have another place to interact with Stephen King fans for the times when the SKMB is closed. We are not endorsing any of these but simply providing them as resources. Don't hesitate to share others you may be aware of.
