I bought this very cool speaker. It is a bluetooth speaker as well as having an optical plug-in and also a phono plug in. It's small enough to be fairly portable and to use as a bookshelf type speaker and can also be used as a soundbar. I like it because of the phono plug in. I have a turntable but it's not permanently hooked up to my main system because it just doesn't fit. So with this, I can just plug in the turntable wherever I want. This speaker is very versatile and it sounds great for it's size.

Needed a replacement... Now I won't keep locking myself in the basement.

My mom gave me some extra money so I got a really cute care bear wallet. I love Care Bears and still collect the vintage figures. I go for the cousins more know as I have lots of the bears and the cousins are harder to find as they came a few years after the bears. They live in the forest of feelings.

Yeh I live in Canada so we do not have much of a selection. Of stores like you do. WE have more of a monopoly of certain stores. I am hoping we will get more stores of American brands coming up to,Canada due to on-line shopping.
They tried that in Winnipeg with 'Target' (maybe the rest of Canada as well?). They built a humongous new building, everyone came, there was not much stock, prices were not what was expected, people stopped coming, there is now a big empty building looking to get leased now.

Garlic press. Advertised on Facebook for 15 or 20 bucks. Went to Amazon, got it for about five. Best garlic press ever. View attachment 32316

For fresh garlic - Andy smashes to smithereens a few cloves but he just uses a knife and a cutting board. This looks like the kind of gadget I'd like to try! :encouragement:

oh yeh target in Canada was a nightmare it was all due to a few issues that they never solved. i live in Alberta and it was the same thing. i read a huge report on it like a year ago and they said the biggest mistake target did was to buy all the zellers stores all at once all over the country and they expanded way to fast. as they still had to pay rent on all the locations, and they did not have the supplies to stock the stores with or the distribution chain to accommodate the Canadian stores. what they should have done was get a few locations in like a few cities to test out the market first and then expand. like operate like 3 stores in Ontario and then expand. also the customers also expected a bit to much. but what we got was silly and they could not keep basic items in stock i was hoping they could stay as i am not a fan of walmart. I also heard a rumor that biway is trying to make a come back
