It's all this modern rubbish they play as well. I wouldn't mind if it was Zeppelin or something.
Idk, I hate hearing Journey or Phil Collins playing at a way too loud volume in stores, and especially at my dentists office where it’s all they play. Depends on how you define “Modern Rubbish” I guess, I’m sure someone called Led Zeppelin that at a point

I'm talking about hip-hop and modern pop, crap. I always thought the establishment liked Zeppelin, didn't Rolling Stone give the first album a good review? Which is unusual for rock groups.

Hip Hop has been around for a long time, and I don’t think it’s wise to stereotype an entire genre, I don’t listen to Hip Hop but I understand why I like it and it’s as valid as a music genre as any other, it’s not all random mumbling and curse words, and there are rappers who genuinely put care and effort into their work. I was like that in Middle School but I try to be a bit broader minded now

also generalizing an entire generation as “crap” is so stupid, thousands of songs and movies are being produced by thousands of different people, it’s easier than ever to make art and there’s more good than bad

I can't say I know much about the genre. You're probably right. But all I know is that on YouTube, they let rappers do songs about attacking cops, and they don't censor that. But near enough every Marilyn Manson song is censored, hmm, could there possibly be some bias?

I was just referring to music, of course there is some good out there. It comes down to personal taste, nothing on the radio today is my thing.

Saw Christmas Carol live at the theatre on Friday, good show although they didn’t change anything up since I last saw it 3-4 years ago, including a lot of the actors. It’s always been my favorite Christmas tale, I’ve seen a lot of the film adaptations and read the book (it was in elementary school though, so I imagine it was a simplified adaptation meant for kids instead of the original Dickens novel, so maybe that doesn’t count), I always liked the Muppets one and that weird motion capture one Disney made in 2009.
