A pale ale of pretty much any kind. Also, just recently I found out that a wheat beer can be quite good as well, although there are a lot of not so good wheat beers around.

The lemon drops I've had have been shots: shot of vodka dip lemon slice in sugar & suck!I like a rum and coke, too. I also like Lemon Drops (don't know what's in them, sorry. And only if the bartender uses ice that has been put through a blender!) Not much of a drinker, so can't list alot of drinks for you. Shots of Yager or Fireball always work for me, too!
Bailey's Irish Cream - the good stuff (not the cheaper imitation brands) is good with a cup of coffee as well. If you want to make an Irish Coffee then it's Jamieson's Irish whiskey in fresh hot coffee in a special glass mug, rimmed with sugar. A dollop of thick whipped cream on top, a maraschino cherry and perhaps a wee sprinkle of cinnamon sugar to top it off!Tonight I am enjoying a glass of Baileys on the rocks. Yum
Vodka Gimlet
Combine ingredients in a shaker ¾ full of ice. Shake to the beat of the Charleston while thinking of a flapper in a short skirt (but not your grandmother). Strain into a pre-chilled cocktail glass, garnish with a lime wheel, and settle down to enjoy one of life’s tarter pleasures.
- 2 oz Vodka
- ¾ oz Lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tsp Simple Syrup
Nothing fancy here for the most part. Just fill a glass one third with ice, cover with whiskey (usually some Canadian) and fill the rest with 7 up. Otherwise I may put three ice cubes in a tumbler and cover with a good single malt scotch. And on weekends I like to cook fancy and will have a bottle of white or red wine to go with dinner. I like to brew my own wine. (I only drink on days that end in Y.) Thanks for starting this thread Danie.
Oh, and vodka paralyzers. Used to drink those in the college days. Love those.
Hey I'm drinking the champagne of beers lol la-di-dahFor a dessert drink or a palate cleanser, I like a small glass of champagne with a ball of sorbet in it....usually lime.
Miller High Life?Hey I'm drinking the champagne of beers lol la-di-dah
Lol. I am in Canada....beer is mother's milk here.
Oh yeah, not fancy but affordable. I can't afford more expensive beers usually, for a splurge I might go for a Stella Artois or something similar.Miller High Life?

My dad used to drink that all the time. Eventually he switched to Natural Light 'cause it's cheaper. Now he just drinks Coors Lite, aka water.Lol. It is usually Labatt's Blue for me.
I've tried it once and wasn't too fond of it. Perhaps I should giveher try, but I don't think I'll have high expectatwon't...
