I see on the news that the province of Saskatchewan is making plans to reopen. They haven't got as many cases as other provinces like Quebec, Ontario and BC.

They are also right next door to my province, Manitoba.

i really wonder Ic this is safe or not. It seems a bit to much but we will see hiw they do. Alberta has got a lot of cases over these past few days. It’s due to two meat packing places that was not shut down and as a result all the staff got sick. It’s insane really. They can link like 500 infections due to one plant alone

Well - I guess we will have to see how it goes (we have 257 cases here but they have 326 cases in Saskatchewan). I'm sure the rest of the country will be watching to see how it goes.

I know that if you come into our province from another one you must self isolate for 14 days - is it the same in Alberta?

Thanks panda. I apologize too. :) My nerves are shot this week between pissy teenagers and hour cuts at my husband's job and then layoffs for some of them, too. I guess it was/is my turn to be pissy. No excuse, I know. Just a frazzled mom reaction and I'm sorry.
I'll have you know that teenagers are the saving grace of humanity. :)

Some people are saying that the lockdown has to continue until an effective treatment or vaccine for Coronavirus is developed. This is nonsense, science has never developed any sort of vaccine for this type of virus. Science, for over a decade has been wanting to get a vaccine for SARS, a decade later? No vaccine. Lockdowns are going to have to end, it's a fact, regardless of wheather or not their is a vaccine.
