Gas prices run neck and neck with copper and aluminum.....sun went to recycle both metals the other dày and the CENTS per pound have dropped drastically.
We'll see.....sitting on the curb watching all that pass by too. :) ;)

Well, taking it from macro to micro, Grandma got up this morning, felt rested, no chills, no fever, no cough, no headache. So she was a little under the weather yesterday and slept it off. But the times sure have us jumping.

Speaking of jumping, while I'm normally indifferent to the stock market, I'm watching it semi-compulsively now. It's like a severely bipolar friend who's off the meds. Just, wow.

....national average gas prices were about .99 cents per gallon just the other day.....
Oh....I see what they're going to do. They're going to TAX the crap out of gas just like they've been doing with cigarettes! :D
Well, that's one way to generate revenue. :)
WATCH MaryJane is on the fast track to be legalized and have the crap taxed out of her too!
I'm all for it! :)
My state legalized marijuana a couple years ago. And it's taxed like crazy, just like the alcohol is. Our roads are still crap and our kids still have to buy their own supplies for school. Where's the tax revenue going??

Well, without wanting to get too political, a state will often look at a form of enhanced revenue, particularly from a vice activity - say, lottery or a sin/drug/intoxicant tax of some kind - and designate the taxes for a more noble cause. But then as that comes in, they tend to keep current funding at the same levels, just coming from different buckets, and that enhanced revenue gets washed out to other needs.

Sounds like gobbley-gook for 'we're keeping it for ourselves'.
