I am doing all right. I know I have not been posting much, but I got a nasty infection in the back of my tonsils about 3 weeks ago and it was bad, and had to go to the hospital, and such but I am ok know, I have been doing some projects like tidying to keep the downstairs clean, and that is a fairly big project so I have been working on that.
Glad you are better now.

No economy means no food, no electricity, no running water, no medicine, no internet, no transportation, no toilet paper, and no SKMB. You tell me... does it matter?
Even though I agree the economy is important, I wouldn’t try to multiply your worries at the moment. A lot of people are able to work from home, medical workers and other emergency service workers are still able to do their jobs and are working their asses off to keep people safe and prevent people from trying to turn the streets into total anarchy. Restaurant owners and employees can still work take out. Although I myself am concerned about how small businesses and certain industries will turn out at the end of this, I think people should put keeping in touch with the health of their family and friends and try to stay as content as possible under these new restrictions rather than adding worries to themselves.

I'm curious as to how long everyone has gone without being in another building (besides your own home).

I have gone out on walks in the local woods, but I haven't been in any other public settings since March 13. I haven't even gone through a drive-thru. All of our groceries have been delivered. My wife did a parking lot grocery pickup over a week ago but that's the last public interaction any of us have had.

What's your record?
It's day six for me since the salon was closed. As of yesterday, NC is now under a 30 day stay home order.
I've noticed the birds are eyeing me eerily from the trees when I walk, and I haven't seen the nutty squirrel for days.
Hoping it's just paranoia, but I think the birds are planning a mutiny......

LOL. Or I could go watch Kurben and that broom sport thing he does. Although I've heard they've adjusted some things for the coronavirus pandemic. :)

Me! Doing broom sport?? I assume you mean Curling and thats not my thing. My thing is Floorball and that is more like Hockey without the ice and the tackles.

Good to keep busy :encouragement:

- I guess they cannot remove the tonsils right now as the hospitals are focusing only on coronavirus cases;

It's never too late though - I had mine out at age 36 and it involved an overnight stay at the hospital (these days now it is probably just a day surgery)

Glad to hear you're okay now!

Defeated may be overly optimistic but they have flattened the curve significantly although it took months to do it. Hopefully that happens all around the world regardless of whose methods are being used.
What was cruciel was Chins's quarantene measures. They made sure that those in Wu Han never went anywhere else in CHina.

One has to wonder if the figures were based on those test kits of theirs that experienced an 80% failure rate.
