Finding Joseph I

It's about H.R., the singer for Bad Brains.

Interesting, sad, and hopeful all at once.

Dude has / had some serious mental health issues. He's getting help for it now so hopefully he can get back to performing.

I AM A KILLER

12 part series on Netflix. I think this is going to be a gripping look at murderers and the justice system. EAch of the 12 murderers tells in detail who, why, where, what, when they murdered. This first guy murdered while in jail so he could get on death row because of the better conditions there.

WHAT?

....not an unusual mind-set amongst the incarcerated.....gives them serious props as a bad ass to their fellow criminals....

He actually killed his roommate in prison -- a child molester -- he admits it freely, it was premeditated and he had to take it to court to FIGHT TO GET ON DEATH ROW.
...we have one in high security lock-up that brained his cellmate with a concrete block-killing him.....he also choked a child molester to death in a prison transport van!!!....then several months ago, damn near killed a Corrections Officer.....why this scrotal drippage is still drawing breath is beyond me....

Okay, this was interesting.

The guy who did this and wants on death row -- his lawyer asked him, "Why do you want on death row so bad?" and he said and I'm paraphrasing. "The guy in the cell across from me is 65 and going blind. He's getting pushed around more -- by inmates, by guards by everyone. I am getting older. I don't want to be preyed upon."

I got quite a few World War Two documentaries, the last documentary I watched was an episode of Russia's War: Blood upon the Snow narrated by Nigel Hawthorne. It is similar to the World at War documentary series narrated by Laurence Olivier but is about the German-Russian campaign. Also I was watching something on You-tube recently about the Rosenbergs in America how they were charged with treason.

Did I mention that I finally watched Room 237? It was... interesting. Some people really do need to get a life.
I haven't watched that one but I've seen a review and... people look into meaningless stuff in movies way too much.
I would like to know King's opinion on it, and, if he were still alive, Kubrick.

Arctic Ghost Ship -- Netflix

I enjoyed this historical documentary on finding the Northwest Passage. I think the TV show The Terror drew from this. Not everyone's cup o' noodles but really an intriguing bit of history.

This one sounds good, I am going to have a look at it. Going to try out Netflix for a 1 month free trail.
