Just watched the original of this movie (The Incredible Shrinking Man) when it aired during last Saturday's Svengoolie program. What an amazing movie for the time it was made (or for all time, for that matter). Good acting, great effects and of course a wonderful novel & screenplay both by the master Richard Matheson. Sci Fi/Fantasy movie making doesn't get much better than this.Suddenly, visions of Lily Tomlin danced in my head.
Special shout out to the Lily Tomlin version mentioned above. A classic in its own right with a screenplay by Tomlin's wife, the talented Jane Wagner.
