Somewhere over the rainbow
The conspiracy theories about the referees are kind of funny, but seriously one penalty! Also, I think it was last year in the AFC Championship game they also had one penalty. That is just unheard of if you've ever played football a total of 2 Flags in two championship games, that lends weight to the theorists claims that the NFL wants the Pats in the Super Bowl..
I find it amusing when the fans of other teams
Think there's a conspiracy because New England creams
Almost every football franchise that we have to play.
"NFL has rigged the game," the latest losers say.

Is there really anybody who believes Goodell
Doesn't think New England's why his ratings went to hell?
It's not 'cause the players took a stand and took a knee,
Not because the fans are worried about CTE.

Ratings fell because New England almost always wins;
Patriots are favored before training camp begins.
When a team's as dominant as we are it's no fun
For the fans whose teams are not on this amazing run.

If we don't get penalized as much as others do
Could it be because we are more disciplined than you?
I'd think - were there bias from officiating crews -
They, like you and Roger, would prefer to see us lose.

“Bean Town” versus “The City of Brotherly Love.” Going off the similarities of the two cities... Who wins?

Boston has the 1997 Oscar-winning movie “Good Will Hunting.”
Philly’s “Rocky” is the greatest sports films ever, and won three Oscars.
Winner: Philly (and not just because Good Will Hunting was mostly filled in Toronto).

Boston is home to Samuel Adams beer, clam chowder, Boston baked beans and Boston cream pie.
Philly’s has soft pretzels and two amazing sandwiches... the roast pork/provolone/broccoli rabe sandwich and the iconic cheesesteak.
Winner: Philly (and just because clam chowder should be red... not white)

Boston’s average high temperature is 58.4 degrees; low is 44.1 and it gets about 44 inches of snowfall.
Philly’s average high is 64.7; low, 47, and annually gets 23 inches of snow.
Winner: Philly (duh! 44 inches of snow... no thanks)

Boston has Chris Evans (“Captain America”), the late Leonard Nimoy, Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, and Uma Thurman.
Philly has Will Smith, Kevin Hart, Bradley Cooper, Grace Kelly, Richard Gere and Kevin Bacon.
Winner: Philly (Boston didn’t have a princess.)

The American Revolution has its roots in Boston, which is known as “The Cradle of Liberty.”
Philadelphia is home to the Liberty Bell and the Declaration of Independence.
Winner: Philly (independence trumps Roots)

Boston music has claims to Boston (duh), Joan Baez, the Cars, James Taylor, Donna Summer and Aerosmith.
Philly’s the birthplace of Billie Holiday, Boyz II Men, Hall and Oates, Patti LaBelle and The Roots.
Winner: Boston (dammit! Roots don't trump Aerosmith)

Dave Loggins gave us “Please Come to Boston.”
Elton John wrote the classic “Philadelphia Freedom.”
Winner: Philly (is there any disagreement?)

“The Lombardi Curse” that has blocked Philly from a Super Bowl title.
The Boston Red Sox endured the “Curse of the Bambino,” which hung like a black cloud over the team from 1918 to 2004.
Winner: Boston (had to come up with something extra to give them)

SO PHILLY WINS! :)

While I've been never been a fan of the Patriots, I will admit that I am just tired of seeing them. That is the honest reason I won't be tuning in to watch the Superbowl.

I don't know about that. :) Philly really mixed things up and surprised the Vikings. Look for them to do it again against Shady Brady. You might have to chain yourself to a chair when all that anxiety hits making you want to run out for a pack of coffin nails. :p

Ha,very cute and quirky, kind of like cat in the hattish..and people can believe what they want to,maybe some is true, maybe some is not,but like I said, two flags in two championship games is unheard of.Perhaps the refs have their own agenda, after all nobody believed that anything was going on in the NBA,until it was proven that they were influencing games.I don't believe Goodell and the nfl hierarchy has any love for Kraft and the patriots, but the fact is,a small market team like Jacksonville against the eagles or whoever it was going to be is a loser in the ratings market, which equates to money for the NFL.A ref can influence a game tremendously in key situations by leaving his flag in his pocket when he does see an infraction. All I am saying is nothing would surprise me anymore, and guess who jogged up quickly to be among the first to congratulate Brady?

Never saw The Departed. Was it any good? The Philadelphia Story (1940)... Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart
... now that was a movie!

And Philly had many of the greatest players in NBA history... including Wilt Chamberlain, Hal Greer, Billy Cunningham, Julius Erving, Moses Malone, Charles Barkley, and Allen Iverson.

Bobby Orr... Oh, I don’t know about that... Bobby Clarke.

Harvard’s overrated. I’d rather send my kids to Penn.
"I'd rather entrust the government of the United States to the first 400 people listed in the Boston telephone directory than to the faculty of Harvard University." - William F. Buckley, Jr.

And my uncle played 15 years of his MLB career in Philly.

When Boston decides not to hide their stop lights... get back to me. :)

Scorcesse won an Oscar for The Departed. It's wicked good, dude! :)

I'll see those NBA stars and raise you Bird, Russell, McCale, Parrish, Pierce, KG, Ray Lewis, et. al.......

Clarke, schmark! Neely, Borque, Esposito, Chara! Big Bad Bruins over Broad Street Bullies any day!

Harvard is overrated! There are only like a bazillion other schools there! Philly has what? 3?

It's cool your uncle played for 15 years in the MLB! My Dad was on the Boston PD for 40 years!

Stop lights are for the weak!

Slight edit to my post:

For Celtics players I meant Ray Allen and Reggie Lewis but combined the two into the horrible human being that played in the NFL.

Oh yeah, our Rocky is real! Rocky Marciano undefeated heavyweight champion of the world! Unlike that Balboa chump! I pity the fool that thinks Philly is bettah than Bawstin!!
